Helen Collins is based in our Wangaratta office and attends our other offices frequently to see clients.
Helen graduated from The University of Melbourne in 1998 with honours degrees in science and law. Helen completed an articled clerkship in the Northern Territory in 1999 before returning to Victoria in 2001. Helen joined Nevin Lenne Gross in 2001 as an associate solicitor and became a principal of the firm in 2016. Helen practised in several areas of law then focussing on personal injury law. In 2007 Helen completed her Masters of Laws at the Australian National University. Helen is an accredited specialist in personal injury law.
Helen assists injured workers with workers compensation claims, people injured in transport accidents, and people with public liability claims, including people subject to sexual abuse within institutions, such as religious organisations.
Helen also has experience in estate litigation (testator’s family maintenance claims), criminal law, family law, and commercial litigation and leads our property department.
In 2013 Helen was accredited by the Law Institute of Victoria as a specialist in personal injury law.
